I'm wondering how using the UM system is affecting other Mind Warriors' sleeping and dreaming patterns.

I've needed less and less sleep. I'm now down to 6.5-7 hours, which is amazing, considering I tend to be a hypersomniac. (In fact, when I was going through a bad bout of depression this past year, I was sleeping between 18 and 20 hours a day!)

My need for less sleep began when I started doing at least one UM session in the morning and going to sleep at night with either UM or a Healing Series CD playing with the mind machine on for 60 minutes (program #9 or #10). I wake up naturally in the morning, without an alarm, feeling energized and ready to go.

I've noticed that my dreams seem to be more "working through" and integrative in nature, and I remember the essentials of them more readily.

The best thing is that I'm not depressed anymore. I was taking elephant-sized doses of an antidepressant with little effect for many months. Since doing the UM regularly, I have cut the dosage in half without ill effects. I'm wondering if perhaps UM is not what's having the antidepressant effect and if the meds I was taking were actually not doing anything to help me.

Interested in your experiences.

Diane
