Ultra Meditation??

I progressively went throught the Ultra Meditation Series regularly for months with little results compared to other meditation techniques I know and have gone back to. I was using a pro. quality CD player and $170 headphones. I would appreciate any comments/suggestions since I have these expensive CDs. More Energy to You, Sir. Chaulk it up to living and learning. What did you find to be the most.... <BR>ineffective UM? This could be of value to any other 'pilgrim' who wanted to steer clear of "bad vibes". Life would be an uninteresting treck were all experiences similar, no? We await on your good graces!

I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. I find that I get better results by not taking coffee for an hour before, and spending ten minutes sitting quietly before a session. I prefer to lie flat on a comfortable bed, and darken the room. I also vary the track I use, depending on how I feel. Generally the results are about 70% occasions of total transcendence. I keep a log of results, so that I can improve the experience by repeating good combinations of mood and track

Hello...

Im astounded by the Ultra Meditation series and am using a freinds copy at the moment...just starting level II.

If the guy in the old post above still has discs for sale I`d snap them up immediately..
