So, has anyone who has purchased the mind machine noticed the electonic humming in the backround. you can hear it through the headphones after you turn the mind machine on, before you set any program to start. You can also hear it in the backround after you start any programs. I am just wondering if this is the case with all the mind machines, or just the one that I got.

I do experience humming, but I thought it was a "feature."

Diane

I've had a learning machine for years, and get this humming/buzzing/squeeline sound continuously as you've said.

Sadly Zygon went bust, and couldn't get anyone to answer the question re whether this was a fault or normal back then.

Have asked Support, but not getting any answer now either

Other questions on this topic on these forums also not answered

It's def annoying, and detracts from the experience.... I'm thinking of getting the standalone CD"s instead...

Good luck, please advise if there's an answer

Hi,

Regarding the zygon learning machine sound quality problem, see my post on google groups and the other mind-tek groups regarding the ipod conversion to filter out the buzz. --Adam (Atroy)
