I have just finished reading an article online at
www.dallasnews.com/science entitled:"New studies
uncovering resilient nervous system"

This is a great article and I encourage all to go
check it out!

It explains that neuroscience is now discovering
that brain tissue, once thought fixed and non-
regenerative does indeed regenerate! It is also
speculated and being researched that spinal tissue
may regenerate as well if properly stimulated. The
implications in all of this are staggering to say
the least and especially in light of the brain
supercharger technology! The possibilities for
longer extended brain functioning for those with
Altzheimers comes to mind as well as many other
possibilities but the power of connectivity and
integral learning through increased capacity may
be incredible. What if we discover the key to
creating more brain cells and neural connections
ad infinitim within our limited little craniums?!

This seems a ripe subject for discussion!

A few years ago scientists were studying the brains of the canary bird species because although the general belief at the time was that an animal brain did not regenerate, it was discovered that the canary possessed a remarkable regenerative ability. Perhaps--it was thought due in some way to its song. This led to a rethinking of the whole idea that you can't grow brain cells.

I appreciate your enthusiasm Ed. Get ready for more discoveries along these lines as the scientific community replaces most of our outdated thinking about our biocomputer brain/mind and and we begin to understand how unlimited we truly are. We have barely scratched the surface of what is to become the most profound frontier mankind has ever explored. The inner journey of mind.
