First and easiest: Add code (like you used to have) so that clicking on the CD/meditator graphic at the site entry screen does the same thing clicking "Enter" now does. (On my monitor at least, I don't see the "Enter" unless I scroll down. It's intuitive for most folks to float their cursor over graphics, but now there's no little hand letting you know you can click there and have something happen. Some people having this experience might not scroll on down, just assuming there's nowhere to go.)

Add a Suggestions mailbox, perhaps but not necessarily with a means of posting anonymously. I personally think a Suggestion Box should not require responses from Mindtek, because I don't want Dane and his elves to be so inundated with reading/responding to emails that they can't devote most of their time to developing and tweaking great new products, implementing good suggestions, and in general facilitating consciousness-expansion work among Mind Warriors.

Of course, we could send in suggestions to something like suggestions@mindtek.com...but I think a lot of ideas bubbling around publicly enhances everyone's creativity (even if 99% of what's tossed out there is never adopted), gets people thinking in novel ways, and is yet more grist for consciousness-raising. (More and more, I KNOW that by looking for and focusing on our visions for the future, we give them life and blood. Ideas--especially ideas shared by and infused with the energy of many minds--become powerful generative intentions released into the universe. Mind Warriors serious about global consiousness-expansion could do some great manifestation/crystallization stuff here.)

Consider if an Affiliates discussion area would be helpful or just confusing. Perhaps the Suggestion Box idea above would be sufficient. My following suggestions are really more affiliate-related than product-related, and they do not require "That's a good idea" or "We thought of that, but here's why we didn't/haven't yet..." kinds of responses.

Provide affiliates with a way to automatically deactivate and/or reactivate their accounts so any Mindtek emails will not be sent to that account. (I sheepishly ask for this because I've managed, in my enthusiasm and zeal, to set myself up with 6 different accounts--meaning I'll get 6 different copies of any messages from Mindtek automatically sent out to affiliates.)

Give affiliates a more clear idea of who to email with questions, suggestions, etc. We now have a choice of three different customer service emails, and it isn't clear which is the best to use. Just add a word or two under one of those categories to tip us off...or set up a fourth address/category, if that would work best to help you manage all this excitement out here!

The following might be a lot harder to implement, but I'd love to see it. First, allow affiliates to indicate on their affiliate pages how they'd like to receive any commissions (e.g., monthly, quarterly, Mindtek credit--see below).

If an affiliate chooses the "Mindtek credit" option, s/he could apply any commissions received toward personal orders. (My sister just ordered the UM series, and as soon as I get the commission locked in--I assume after the 30-day return period has expired--I want to order the OpenMind CDs. And then there's UM6...and the Photographic Mind...and on and on.)

Maybe you could even set it up so affiliates could pre-order something (kind of like the 90-day "save" feature of some shopping carts like Amazon.com's), then offer us a choice of debiting our Mindtek credit or charging the order on a credit card. With no action, the pre-order could be set up to expire after, say, 90 days (with an automatically generated email reminder beforehand, perhaps) or we could authorize automatic shipping of the order as soon as we have enough Mindtek credit to cover it. What this would do is get products into our hands faster and more efficiently, and it could be less hands-on for Mindtek folks if it were set up to auto-function.

Okay, brain, enough thinking for now....
