B"H <BR>When we, energetic therapists, are healing we ground which means we connect to the schumans waves coming off the earth. These waves are 8Hz frequencies which put the mind into an Alpha state allowing the healer to go in a heal. I wonder if there is an easier way to open a door to the subconcious while healing when listening to your Cd's. Also, there are sometimes little clicking or distortion sounds, I don't know if they are from my headphones or the CD. Since you are very knowledgable in the music department of the mind, I find that bamboo flute has a very fast a unnoticable alpha state induction and can quickly put someone into a delta if not very used to the sound. There should be no clicking sounds on your CD. It is likely a problem with your headphone wiring. Perhaps a loose wire. Because you are in a relaxed and highly focused mind state even the slightest static or external noises can become quite noticable. <BR> <BR>As for the the bamboo flute I agree it can be very enchanting. Several soundtracks do incorporate a Shakuhachi or Japanese bamboo flute. This very difficult (to master) instrument..has been reported to have mystical powers due to the purity of its tone. The shakuhachi is made from the root of a bamboo and was used by wandering Zen monks in the 16th century. Perhaps we should do more with this instrument.
