Dane,

I am a fan of the AudioStrobe format, which is a musical CD with a 19.2 khz signal set to trigger the light glasses in time with the music. Some of the AudioStrobes are QUITE amazing! Machines that use this are the Photosonix Nova Pro 100 (high end) and the Orion (low end).

Knowing that the Zygon Learning Machine runs off a CD, and also triggers the light glasses in a sequence, is it possible that a similar signal was used to encode the Learning Machine CDs so that they may also work on AudioStrobe capable machines?

Thanks,
jcarruth

I own a Learning Machine and I have used the
audiostrobe format. The Learning Machine is
the superior platform and was the original
player in the encoded CD Light/Sound biz. I
got mine in '93 or '94. The two formats are not
directly compatable as the LM encodes it CDs
differently so one can't play off the other. The
Zens states CD is a total mind blower.

I think there is a patent on the LM. It says so
on the label anyway. Frankly, I'm surprised the
audiostrobe guys haven't been shut down for
patent infringment.

hi to all,
a source for the zygon stuff would be ebay.
but beware about some sellers.
so, any power seller with over 1000 good transactions and use paypal.com for money would be my best advice.
i have some cds for the learning machine, please contact me off board about this cds...minatour87@yahoo.com
