I was just wondering what folks here are planning to be doing on August 11, when the last total solar eclipse of the millenium will be taking place. It's supposed to be a very "high" day, as those of you who requested the info from Hypnomoon know. Also, I've heard that during eclipses, it's much easier to access deeper levels of consciousness...to walk between the worlds, in shamanic terms.

I'm not planning to be on the streets if I can help it, because people and animals do seem to get kind of crazy around eclipses. But I AM planning to spend that time in my tent in my backyard journeying (maybe all night) with my mind machine and portable CD player loaded with batteries, UM, lots of good water, etc. I'm not sure how visible the eclipse will be from Florida, but I'm going to enjoy the time anyway.

Anyone else got any special plans? Would anyone be interested in synchronizing some group Mind Warrioring to see if we can boost the power of the experience? I firmly believe that minds united in a common effort like prayer or meditation can make a big difference. We could focus our energies on helping the planetary consciousness heal and expand as we ready ourselves for the incredible wonders the next century will no doubt bring.

What do you think? Anyone else want to make August 11 a "mental health day"?

Diane
